happy happy joy joy

Hello! Happy Tuesday! Gosh, you girls sure know how to make me blush! I am overwhelmed with gratitude for all your thoughtful and encouraging words you sent my way. You truly make this the most welcoming and supportive community I feel so privileged to be a part of. Moreover, I am absolutely grateful for all my new crafty friends in the blogland. I enjoy visiting your blogs/sites and taking in all your fabulous crafty creations :)

I have two card sets to share with you today. The first is a pocket card set in non-traditional colors. Made these for the gift cards I'll be giving out this Christmas. Love the way their faces light up when they receive a handmade card — for sure one of the best parts in card making :)  It is inspired by Shari's pocket card in her tutorial.

Here is the inside of the cards. Kept it simple with green snowflakes to match the front.

The second card set is a simpler variation of the first set in a red, white, and kraft color combo. The ornament was heat embossed with white embossing powder onto white cardstsock. Then inked with Fired Brick and Aged Mahogany using a blending tool, and misted with a homemade pearlized mist (Perfect Pearl & water).

Cards submitted in Paper Crafts December Gallery 2011 Challenge, Cropstop's Challenge #50: Unique and Non-traditional, and Hero Arts December 2011 Contest.

Without further ado, the winner of my giveaway is Sue McRae aka Inky Fingers! Woot woot! You can choose between a $25 gift card to Simon Says Stamp or a spot in the online class, Clean & Simple Card Making. Please reply back to the email I sent you. Thank you so much again everyone!
